Dear Breasts, We Love You!

When I was a little girl, I was so excited about my breasts growing. I had admired women's bodies, and looked forward to my body, and breasts, blossoming too. I think, from early on, I knew the power of breasts, especially from the feminine perspective. I innately knew that our breasts represent nurture, nourishment, love, and healing. As I matured into a woman, I have come to learn that the best way to care for our breasts is to truly, and deeply love, accept, honor, and celebrate our feminine bodies, health, and lives everyday. Only the best for your breasts.

*Choose healthcare solutions that nourish your breast, and complete health *Live your life based on what adds to your happiness

*Accept your breasts, just as they are in shape, size, color, etc

*Allow your partner to touch and be gentle and loving with them

*Speak about your breasts with admiration

*Transform painful beliefs about being a woman

*Play + Laughter = Joy (a healing tool)!

*Massage them daily with essential oil blends

*Your breasts are considered part of the heart chakra or heart healing center in your bodies (the center of your chest). The health of your heart will directly affect your breast health. Learn how to fully open your heart to easily give and receive love!

*If you do wear a bra, choose ones that are comfortable and supportive without the metal underwire as it can further restrict lymph flow, which can cause toxicity to build in the body

In his article, The Prevention and Complementary Treatment of Breast Cancer, Dr. Michael Schacter, M.D. says:

"Over 85 percent of the lymph fluid flowing from the breast drains to the armpit lymph nodes. Most of the rest drains to the nodes along the breast bone. Bras and other external tight clothing can impede flow. The nature of the bra, the tightness, and the length of time worn, will all influence the degree of blockage of lymphatic drainage. Thus, wearing a bra might contribute to the development of breast cancer as a result of cutting off lymphatic drainage, so that toxic chemicals are trapped in the breast."

I invite you to begin or continue the journey of unapologetically valuing yourself, your feminine body, and honoring the importance of the gifts and talent you share with the world, as these all affect your breast health.
