Is Your Family Dehydrated?

Drinking water is a powerful, healing necessity that is a daily requirement!

Making up over two thirds of the human body, water is essential to the proper growth and thriving of any life. Literally, without it, the body dies...just think, if you stop watering your plant - it dies! Our lives depend on it...all internal organs and body functioning, such as liver, heart, stomach, eyes, intestines, and mood, and so on rely on water in order to function well. Because we're all built in different sizes, the amount necessary for each individual is different. It's recommended that you drink 1/2 your body's weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, 75 ounces of water is what your body requires to be hydrated and nourish your physical, emotional, and mental health. Dehydration happens when the body loses more fluid than what goes in. It has been stated that 80% of society is dehydrated. Rule number one for identifying dehydration is thirst. If you're feeling thirsty, you're already dehydrated. Possible signs of dehydration include:


Fatigue Allergies Digestive issues Dry skin/Eczema

Pregnancy challenges Blemishes/skin discoloration Dark color around the skin of the eyes Brittle/thinning hair Constipation Womb challenges Weight gain

Onset of illness

Dehydration also affects cognition, concentration, and our ability to think clearly. It also can affect how we choose to respond in our daily lives when interacting with others - the family, colleagues, ourselves, anyone. When dehydrated, one may be quick to react (in fear), instead of respond (in love). The above may also indicate other challenges within the body. "Water" with fructose in it, is not pure water. The body has to process the fructose, instead of experiencing the natural cleansing and hydrating of pure water throughout the entire body. Benefits of daily, appropriate water consumption include: Removing waste and toxins from the body Improves heart health, resulting in stronger energy and circulation Proper digestion Assists in balancing your emotions and mental health Promotes healthy skin Assists in keeping the body more alkaline, instead of acidic Improves dental health Increases recovery from illness Encourage drinking clean, pure water everyday as a commitment within your home, and remember to send your kids back to school with their own proper water bottle and water.
