The Top Herbs You Must Add To Your Family's Grocery List And Why!

If you're choosing to cut back on dairy because there's a build up of mucus in your body when you eat it, but still appreciate milk in your tea - options such as almond milk, oat milk, or another dairy alternative could be satisfying, as well as healthier.

This herb can be introduced to young daughters to start to enrich their reproductive health, from an early age, to prepare their body for a healthy menstrual cycle, and to support them to build a positive foundation of health. You may use it as a tea bag or brew the herbs. Other benefits of red raspberry include: soothes leg cramps, and eases morning sickness.
Dandelion - Dandelion plant is used as a medicinal herb internally and externally. It is traditionally used to assist the liver, which plays a vital role in hormonal health. This may be especially supportive for children entering puberty and dealing with hormonal changes. When you nourish the liver, along with eating the appropriate food and addressing emotions such as anger, you encourage the body to create a more balanced puberty experience, and hormonal health. If you're sensitive to ragweed, this may not be the best herb for you. Another alternative is burdock root. p.s. Each organ/system within our body is linked to processing a specific emotion. Liver can store/process anger. Other benefits of dandelion include: relieves heartburn, and helps in balancing blood sugar levels.
Turmeric powder - One of my absolute favorite herbs, turmeric has been used as a spice and medicinal herb in India for thousands of years. It contains the compound curcumin, which is vital in supporting inflammation within the body. If you have ever experienced pain, of any kind, within your body, along with swelling, tension, and other 'negative' changes in your body, then you have experienced inflammation. Because we expose ourselves to certain foods, medications, and other potentially harmful ingestion, having the support of turmeric can assist your body to decrease and eliminate inflammation (p.s. you must also make the necessary change in diet, lifestyle, etc). Season your food with it. It is also available in capsule form. Other benefits of turmeric include: clearing up skin conditions, and reducing high cholesterol.
